Dr. Elizabeth Lee
Dr. Elizabeth Lee is a Memphis native and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1990 from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences, graduating top of her class and receiving numerous scholarships and awards. She was the first woman president of the Memphis Dental Society and was the first female vice president of West Tennessee for the Tennessee Dental Association. Dr. Lee is a recipient of the Memphis Dental Society Humanitarian Award and is, to date, the only woman to have been given this honor. She is currently the secretary/treasurer for the Tennessee section of the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Lee has studied extensively, learning the intricate details of treating occlusal disease and smile design. She treats people with many different bite problems and enjoys giving patients their smiles back. She is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists (considered the conscience of dentistry) and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the Memphis Dental Society, the sChristian Dental Association and past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lee has been on eight mission trips to Kenya, Africa, where she helps build churches and performs emergency dentistry on the tribe’s people in very remote areas. She has also been on mission trips to Uganda and Ethiopia. She is heavily involved in the Mid-South Mission of Mercy which donates over a million dollars of free dentistry each year to those in need throughout Memphis.
Dr. Lee is married to her husband, Dwight, and has two children, one stepdaughter, and six grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes to travel with her family, spending time outdoors, and relaxing at the lake.
